NOVAMEDIA
Established in 2001 to support the development and
promotion of media art in Australia and internationally,
NOVAMEDIA is Australia's first media art agency.
Drawing on its extensive knowledge in media art curation,
research, evaluation, acquisition and management, NOVAMEDIA
provides expert advice to private collectors and public organisations
on the most dynamic of the contemporary arts.
NOVAMEDIA's collection showcases a diverse range of artworks: from historically significant experiments in digital still and moving images, to the latest developments in digital, interactive, robotic and virtual reality art.
International curatorial initiatives include Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Hobart (2002), Centre Pompidou, Paris (2003), Barbican Centre, London (2004), Ars Electronica, Linz (2004), GameTime, Melbourne (2004), China Millennium Art Museum, Beijing (2005) and Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai (2006), and forthcoming projects in Denmark and Austria.
